A sports prediction gamer is a person who participates in a sports-related activity which depends on the outcome of real-life sports events. The most common sports prediction game is fantasy sports, where participants form teams based on real-life players and compete against other participants, with the outcome of the game being based on the performance of the players in real-life sports events. Another example is sports betting, where participants make predictions about the outcome of sports events and wager money on the outcome of the event.

The frequency of updates depends on the data type and how frequently we anticipate the data to change. Stats data is updated ~every minute, odds data is updated ~every 3 minutes, news data is updated ~every 5 minutes, and rankings data is updated ~every 8 hours. We reduce the frequency of updates when we do not anticipate the data to change, such as overnight. Some sportsbooks may not have in-game odds data currently, but we are working on adding it soon.
